I componenti di una orchestra stabile sono abituati a sentire di tutto..... così è significativo il fatto che a Firenze qualche anno fa, durante le prove della "Forza del Destino" al Teatro comunale si siano messi ad applaudire il tenore. Chi era mai? Nessun nome grosso (allora) ma quello un pò curioso di un giovane tenore piacentino, la vera rivelazione del "Maggio Musicale" di quell'anno: Flaviano Labò, voce squillante, limpida, ben educata, duttile, di una estensione notevolissima, acuti dispiegati ed una espressività musicale piena e convincente.

The members of an established orchestra are used to hearing everything…therefore it is quite noteworthy that in Florence some years ago, during the rehearsals for Forza del Destino at the Comunal Theater, they applauded the tenor. Who could it have been?
Not a big name (at the time), but the strange one of a young piacentine tenor, the real revelation of the Musical May of that year: Flaviano Labò, strong, clear, well-trained and flexible voice, with an impressive range, open high tones and a full and convincing musical expression.
